I'd go for the other end of the tree, Hanulf. The way roots branch out yet entwine about one another strikes me more like the experiences and memories of life. Leaves are too discrete and individual.
Oh! I can't think that deeply right now. I'd like to, I want to, but I can't. I just returned from a glorious weekend retreat and I still have so much left yet to process - to sort out. I do have it within myself, however, to bring you Michele's regards on an outstanding Sunday evening.
a good image for my life... a day in Venice, Italy... surrounded by color and vibrancy, sunlight to moonlight, both reflecting magically off the canals and colorful buildings... surrounded by creativity, baubles, and companionship to share it all with...and maybe a kitty or two.

Utenzi - I like that! Roots are also what keeps you grounded and full of life.
