Those are the most GORGEOUS KITTIES! We had strays that we fed regularly (they were WELL fed, the entire neighborhood put out food for them, little buggers!) and one looked just like your tortoiseshell, and the other like your butterscotch tabby. In fact, we called them Shelly and Butter!
Michele sent me....off to peruse more kitties, birds and whatnot...
Linda - That is so funny... mine are both strays that I rescued as kittens... Walli was stuck inside a wall in my office building, and Stormi, her younger sister (same stray mama but different litter) was found in a storm shelter... :)

Adorable! I love Stormi's tortie coloring... I love her long silky blackish legs. So pretty! And you're so right, Walli looks just like our Oboe. AND, he makes the same "Ack-ack-ack-ack" sound when he sees birds!
